The Mag-P.I.E. Portable Power Packs are specialized instruments for generating intense magnetizing and demagnetizing current fields for the magnetic particle inspection method of flaw detection in ferrous metals. The Pulse Train feature has several advantages over normal operation including reduction in cable heating and reduction of power consumption by 70%. The Pulse Train feature provides full effective magnetizing AND demagnetizing output current fields that exceed MIL and Industrial performance requirements. Extra long power cables, single phase power input requirements with optional mobile carts, allow these units to be positioned virtually anywhere.
